Yesterday Mike got the afternoon off of work so we came up with the idea to go and feed the ducks at Laguna Lake in San Luis Obispo. I have taken the kids out to feed the ducks a few times there and we have always had a good time. This time there were a lot of really big geese that seemed really hungry. When we first got there Aubri had no fear and wanted down to feed the birds herself. She didn’t seemed bothered by the fact that the geese were towering over her. Mike went to the car to get something and while he was gone I guess the geese got a little aggressive and one bit Dylan while he was getting out a handful of food. While I was trying to get him calmed down another goose bit Aubri. At that point I think feeding the ducks turned out to be not very fun. The kids were ready to pour out the food and run. By the end I was even feeling a bit intimidated by the geese and I am really surprised that none of my toes got bit because Aubri was throwing food straight down at my feet.
