Tomi took the kids to The Avila Valley Barn on a weekday and there was hardly anyone there. So Dylan and Aubri decided to take that opportunity to dance and run around the place as they pleased. Its nice to get these glimpses of them getting along so well, because I am sure we will need proof of it when they are much older.
Mike was lucky and was able to get a 1/2 day off of work on Thursday 10/08/2009 so we decided we would head to the Avila Valley Barn to let the kids feed the animals and have some fun. We had a great time! The kids love feeding all of the animals, although Aubri really wants to feed them, but she wants you to feed them for her. Dylan always enjoys looking at the peacocks. They are his favorite and they were being very loud when we were there and Dylan said they were singing. Aubri is becoming much more vocal and you can hear in some of the video that she is really trying to get her point across. I think the kids also really like heading to the barn because they get to get ice-cream. Their ice-cream is actually really good, so it is always a nice treat. We should be heading back there in the next couple of weeks to pick out some pumpkins so I will try to get pictures from that day up as soon. Tomi Registration for the Nike Marathon in SF this October opens on March 22nd. I am hoping to set up a group for registration because it gives you better odds of getting selected. Let me know if you want to sign up and we set up a group ID for everyone to register under. It is a really fun marathon and you still have 8 months to train. :).
